Empine Group is proud to be shortlisted in the category of Business Award for Lancashire Business View's Sub36 Awards.

Sub36 awards celebrate people in business who are under 36 years of age and are achieving great things.

Empine has been shortlisted in the Business Award which is a category to celebrate more established businesses where the majority ownership sits with people under 36.

Empine Group is wholly owned by Anthony Taylor and Jacob Knowles, who are both under 36.

Jacob Knowles, Business Director, said of the news on LinkedIn, "How do we summarise the last 12 months…

Well entering an awards seemed like a great opportunity to try and reflect on it for sure and we are delighted to have been shortlisted in the Sub36 Awards!!

Entering as a business was hugely important to us because this is a full team effort, and it felt right that the full team deserves to be recognised.

Notable reflections:

- acquired Forsyth and Steele with Alex
- acquired Printwise with Alex
- now have a team of 15 talented people
- now operating across 3 sites, 2 production and a warehouse
- brought in our first marketing manager in Emily Yates
- won a new notable tender for an international business
- increased storage capacity by over 100 pallets
- a new 5 year plan implemented with the support of Keith McMurtrie
- redefined what Empine is and who we add most value to.

The plan for the next 12 months is big, and if I’m honest a little scary, but it’s things like this that remind us of where we have come from in a short space of time.

Congratulations to the other finalists and good luck!!!"
