We need to let you know that we are moving! After what has been an exciting year for Empine, the long awaited move to larger premises has been completed. So what does this mean for us and our clients:

  1. More space to deliver great products and services –
    For those of you that know us or visited our office, we had been spoilt by the incubation space at Darwen Aldridge Community Academy, but as we have grown the space became very tight to the point we were spilling onto the corridors! Our move to the new unit has been long overdue but we had to get it right. The new unit combines industrial space and a newly built office mezzanine which means we can work more efficiently but also produce and store products for our customers meaning they receive their print at the right time! This also opens us to the world of fulfilment print to those that require it.
  2. Space to take on new staff –
    Adding new team members is a huge bonus for Empine. We are trying to deliver products and services to staff as quickly as possible, even same day at times, something our clients seem to love. To do this more consistently though we need to build our infrastructure, adding an internal designer for faster turnaround on artwork and to look after our network of freelancers to deliver artworks that have impact on the success of print marketing. This will also help us to link our client’s print marketing to their digital strategies more effectively.
    Keep an eye out for those job descriptions.
  3. A bespoke working environment –
    We want a space that our team can be creative, come up with new ideas and most importantly feel comfortable. Our new office allows us to make this space. We are not saying this is a palace but a number of steps in the right direction. ‘Productivity through people’ is important to us and the new office nurtures that.
  4. We can take on more clients! –
    Service is what we are all about and we have to understand our limitations. We had exceeded the number of clients we could service to our standards in the old office, we now have 9 times the space capacity!
  5. The location is epic –
    A big one for us, we are now next to the motorway on the J4 services. It couldn’t be easier to get to us from anywhere on the M65 corridor. The new location means we can get to our clients 15 minutes per journey quicker than ever before but also clients can get to us 15 minutes quicker, saving everyone vital time! There are never enough hours in the day!

These points are just the tip of the iceberg for benefits the new unit offers us and in turn the service and offering we can provide our clients. It allows us to grow as a business, in infrastructure and in delivery. We are truly excited for the next year and want to welcome as many people as possible to the new office!
