Back in Trafalgar Square for the Sea Cadets. ![Emily Yates](https://app.hubspot.com/settings/avatar/0cfb7545c28d4ad668e2483273aff76a) Emily Yates October 28, 2026 We're a little late sharing this one, but we couldn't let it pass. On Sunday 18th October, the Sea Cadets celebrated Trafalgar Day in Trafalgar Square, London, and once again we were there to brand the square for the occasion. ![Sea Cadets branding on the steps of Trafalgar Square for Trafalgar Day 2026](https://www.empine.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/Sea%20Cadets%20-%20Trafalgar%20Day/trafalgar-day-2026-4.jpg?width=1600&height=900&name=trafalgar-day-2026-4.jpg) ## An annual tradition. Trafalgar Day marks the anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, and every October the Sea Cadets come together in the square that bears its name. It's a proud day for the cadets, their families and the volunteers who support them, and we're proud to play our part in it every year. ## Up before the square wakes up. Our day starts early. Before London gets going, our team is in the square getting the Sea Cadets' branding in place, so everything is ready and looking right by the time the cadets and their guests arrive. ![Nelson's Column at dawn as set-up begins in Trafalgar Square](https://www.empine.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/Sea%20Cadets%20-%20Trafalgar%20Day/trafalgar-day-2026-82.jpg?width=1600&height=1200&name=trafalgar-day-2026-82.jpg) ![Sea Cadets banners ready to go up on the Trafalgar Square steps](https://www.empine.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/Sea%20Cadets%20-%20Trafalgar%20Day/trafalgar-day-2026-84.jpg?width=1600&height=1200&name=trafalgar-day-2026-84.jpg) Once the celebrations are over, we take it all down again. Putting it up and taking it down is all part of the job, and it means the Sea Cadets can focus completely on their day. ## Watch the day come together. ## Why it matters. Events like this run to tight timings in one of the busiest, most public spaces in the country. The print needs to look right, go up on time and come down cleanly. That's what print management is really about: one partner looking after it from start to finish, so the people running the event don't have to. ![Sea Cadets barrier branding outside the National Gallery](https://www.empine.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/Sea%20Cadets%20-%20Trafalgar%20Day/trafalgar-day-2026-1.jpg?width=1600&height=900&name=trafalgar-day-2026-1.jpg) ![Sea Cadets barrier banner beside one of the Trafalgar Square lions](https://www.empine.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/Sea%20Cadets%20-%20Trafalgar%20Day/trafalgar-day-2026-3.jpg?width=1600&height=900&name=trafalgar-day-2026-3.jpg) ## See you next year. Thank you to the Sea Cadets for having us again, and for the incredible work they do with young people across the UK. We're already looking forward to next October. Got an event coming up?
